Understand more of every page.
Optional AI translation helps you read manga in other languages without leaving the reading experience. The app detects text on comic pages and presents translated text as you read.
AI translation
AI-powered translation is a subscription feature, separate from ordinary reading. Subscribe in the app to access supported online translation features. Subscription pricing and terms are presented in the app before purchase.
Translation in context
Translate comic-page text within your reading workflow, without having to manually transcribe every speech bubble. As with any machine translation, results may need review for nuance and context.
More than a reader on Mac.
Daisuki Manga on Mac includes editing tools for fan translators and scanlation workflows. Review AI-translated material, work with text placement, and prepare readable translated pages.
Make the words fit the art.
Use the Mac editor to refine translated page content, adjust text presentation and placement, and work toward a polished translation. These editing tools are specifically highlighted on Mac, rather than being promised on iPad.
Respect creators' copyrights and obtain any permissions needed before distributing translated work.
